Marble is a luxurious product that is extensively used in bathrooms. Marble vanity worktops refer to the surface area or slab of stone that the sink sits upon and is normally mounted on a wooden or suitable bathroom cabinet.
Made to measure bathroom marble worktops:
All homes and commercial applications have different sizes, colours, cut out and edge finish requirements, for this reason, all our marble worktops are made to measure.
We hold large stocks of raw material and for this reason, production turnaround times are quick with many orders being supplied the very next day.
- The sink should be templated in a rigid material such as wood to ensure an accurate cutout on the Marble worktop. Some customers bring the sink to the factory in Nairobi to verify dimensions if there are any clarifications necessary.
- The tap position should be determined prior to order so this hole can be drilled in the correct position awaiting positioning of the tap after installation.
Marble bathroom shower cladding:
Shower trays are usually manufactured in fibreglass or ceramic materials, however, it is also possible to cast cement and clad showers with Marble for a luxurious and designer feel.
- It is possible to flame the marble to make it non slip or groove the surface as per design requirements
- All pieces can be cut exactly to the sizes required to minimise work onsite and improve aesthetic appeal
Marble for Baths & cladding
Marble can be used around baths rather than conventional plastic or tiling panels to create an exclusive finish. It is possible to carefully plan hatches that can be removed to access plumbing works if needed.
In some cased Marble with veining or visually interesting colours can be applied on walls to create a unique waterproof surface with character and ambience. It is important to carefully vein match the sections used if walling is required so that the maximum impact is achieved. This is typically done by numbering the cut boulders or slabs as they are produced in order to make it easier to match up during the installation stage.
Quarried Kenyan Marble for bathrooms
As a manufacturer of marble in Kenya, we locally quarried and processed White marble that can be used in commercial and residential bathrooms alike. Kenyan marble has a deep white background with subtle random coloured and grey veining. The veining and exact colour of each natural section can vary from piece to piece, however, the material is very visually appealing.
We also stock a range of imported marble to offer variety and choice as marble from all over the world is different in characteristics and colour.
